It is trumped up damages, and mightn't sit well with a jury, but it's not fraud. And of course I have a duty to mitigate my damages. If I'm trying to do a deal that would make me a $1,000,000 profit, and I face a half-percent difference in my interest rate because of a derog and I drop my deal becasue it's going to cost me a few thousand extra bucks in interest, my damages are not $1,000,000, they're zilch. My remedy is to do my deal, pay the extra few thousand bucks and then sue the CA or CRA that messed up my report.

On GM, you can pay online anytime through the month. Make sure to use this, as they can't claim it wasn't received.
Alot of people say soft inquiries don't count for anything, but I have proof they do :wink:........or at least they did on my report.
